Hey everyone, I must say I had an absolute blast last night at Q102’s Party at Sawyer Point. Opening night, baby! Thanks to everyone who came out to party to enjoy cold drinks with us. We had a little different spot this year compared to the last two, due to the P&G Pavilion stage being condemed until a tower is fixed. A temporary stage has been set up in the mean time, but it may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. The verdict remains, but it seemed everyone was enjoying the new setup. The weather couldn’t have been any better, and to boot, the Reds beat the Phillies! We had one of our black photo booths on hand so people could take free pictures in the booth all night long. The Naked Karate Girls  began the night with music and I can’t help but love these guys! They remind me of the Beastie Boys in their classic ”Sabotage” video.  The after party was held at Jefferson Hall, where they performed again, with a blower on stage and one of the band members dressed up as an 84 year old lady no less. These guys know how to engage the crowd and perfrom some good cover! DJ Toad picked up the tab in between jam sessions for the band and just about cracked the walls with the bass. Toad is one of the best DJ’s I have come across, period.
